Conveyor Belt Splicing

Connecting Conveyor Belts

Thanks to the expertise and experience of our staff we can respond professionally and efficiently to customer requirements when it comes to maintaining conveyor belts. Whether it is a merger of cold or warm vulcanization, or the reparation of conveyance belts, we guarantee absolute reliability and quality no matter where the intervention is carried out. In the process of resolution and gluing, we use technologically advanced and high-quality materials that, even in disadvantaging environments, achieve good and long-term results.

The tape setting preceded the correct calculation of the tape dimensions, the quantity of transported cargo and the characteristics of the conveyor.

The dimension of the tape depends on the quantity and characteristics of the transported material, on the length and the denivelation of transport. Transition distances, curvature radius and tightening tempo are determined on the basis of elastic elation of 1.3.

Convel Belts Connect:

-Cold vulation (gluing)

-Warm vulmisation (press)

-Mechanical Coupltions

When connecting rubber conveyor belts with EP canvates, we recommend the step joints with a cutting cut, whose one leg (along the length of the strip) equals a third of the band's width. The length of one degree (stairs) is determined on the basis of the number of canvas cartridges in the ribbon and ranges from at least 150 mm to a maximum of 300 mm. Based on the above, the total length of the join is calculated according to the form:

L = 1/3 B (tape width) + Length of degrees X (number of Platans – 1) + 50 mm

If the step layers are correctly dimensioned, this merge mode allows for a large-scale connection that is not different from the other part of the bar.

When connecting PVC conveyor belts The preparation of the parts for gluing is performed using W finger which ensures a larger contact surface of the paste. For more demanding compounds (heavy load straps), there are also recommended step joints with the treatment of the ends of the band W Finger.
